Donna Dietz joined Pitney Bowes in March 2004 and leads the long-range development of Pitney Bowes’ computer and network architecture, strategy, and enterprise information management as well as providing enterprise-wide direction on the use of emerging technology products and services. She works to identify new approaches for implementing computer, network, and communications technology including hardware, software, productivity tools, databases, image processing and multimedia.
She joined Pitney Bowes from Altria Group, Inc (formerly Philip Morris Companies, Inc) where she was Director, Global IT Strategy and Planning, responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide IT strategic planning and global transformational project implementation.
Prior to that position, Donna was VP, Enterprise Relationship Manager at Nabisco with responsibility for managing the relationship between the operating companies and the IT organization. As a Partner in the consulting firm M&D Advanced Systems, Donna developed the technical e-business architecture and wrote the design specification for a Customer Relationship Management system that enables Nabisco customers to place orders through the Internet.
Earlier in her career, Donna held successively more responsible roles in finance, business planning, consulting, project management and IT with several companies including Mellon Financial Services, FMC Corporation, Chase Manhattan Bank, and American International Group.
Donna has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from CMU’s Tepper School of Business.
