Lynette Ferrara
Partner, CSC Informatics Practice Healthcare Sector
Lynette is a Partner in the CSC Healthcare Informatics practice leading initiatives to improve outcomes and drive growth and operational efficiency through the design of new business models. She leads business and IT strategy projects that enable healthcare companies to take advantage of emerging trends in health information technology. Recent projects include managing the design and development of common data models and a research lab for the Observational Medical Outcomes Program, a US based public-private partnership developing new statistical methods to detect drug safety issues. She is currently leading a CSC venture fund project to develop a direct to consumer health management business.
Lynette joined the Healthcare Sector from CSC’s LEF Executive Programme where her research focused on the development and delivery of ideas for transforming the business by effective use of IT. Her research centred on innovation, new business models, IT governance and strategies for mobile and collaborative work. Her publications include The Networked Supply Chain, a book based upon case studies of a dozen global 500 companies, as well as a number of reports and journals including:

In addition to her research, Lynette led the LEF Advisory programme in the US where she helped apply the research to specific clients’ corporate agendas.
Prior to joining CSC, Lynette was a Principal in A T Kearney’s Strategic Information Technology Practice. For 11 years, she was President of Decision Research Corporation, a 70-person firm specializing in the Development of Executive Information Systems.
